To clarify whether the building was worthy of it's 3A grading and worth retention
Findings of Site Inspection:
The building is a timber and iron structure that has been allowed to become dilapidated. The main portion though needing repair is still mostly intact. The back portion of the building is very much beyond repair.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the main front portion and stoep element be retained and restored. The back portion can be demolished and the materials from this part can be used in the restoration of the main building.
