The court interdict notice was served on the company on friday afternoon (6 march 2015). JL and GT were instructed to check if road construction had ceased in light of the pending interdict.
Findings of Site Inspection:
work has not stopped, the road construction is continuing apace.
Recommended Action:
HWC has been approached to enter into negotiations for reaching an agreement on the mining proposal. this will not be entertained until good faith is shown and the work on the site is stopped.
