Reasons for Site Inspection:
Due to the difficulty of capturing the contextual streetscape photographs, the case officer went to investigate the relation of the property in question to the Rossiter Street context.
Findings of Site Inspection:
1. Rossiter Street is narrow and difficult to capture the whole streetscape.
2. The historical and cultural context of the building varies with the oldest buildings with original building envelope.Most of the buildings in the lane have been considerably altered.
3. Therefore there is limited streetscape context in terms of heritage.
Recommended Action:
The matter to be discussed at the next HOMS meeting.
