Reasons for Site Inspection:
Determine how much work was done prior HWC Application.
Findings of Site Inspection:
Claire provided clarity regarding the amount of work that was done prior to the application and what work remained to still be done once the permit was obtained.
Work done prior Permit:
The floor drains were installed in "new floors" and has been completed.
The surface mounted pipes and free standing sink will not be detrimental to the building
The damp walls were stripped of paint and re-painted to the spec for the Jonkershuis that was previously approved by BELCom.
Work still to be done:
Installation of glass sliding door partition
Re-hanging of the existing yellow wood door on parliament hinges and installing glass partition in this existing door way.
Recommended Action:
Work that has already been completed was sensitively done and the new work won't be detrimental to the building.
Recommend that BELCom approve the works but that they also issue the owners with a letter warning them that should further work be done without a permit HWC will be required to lay charges.
