Reasons for Site Inspection:
A member of the public informed Heritage Western Cape that the owner of San Remo had erected electric fencing on his old boundary walls without a permit.
Findings of Site Inspection:
The electric fencing has been erected in a unsympathetic manner that detracts from the aesthetic value of the building and does not take into account the nature of the old wall that it has been erected on. A more sympathetic method could have been used
Recommended Action:
No action required as even though the electric fencing is unsympathetic it does not have a vast impact on the boundary wall
